Did you know that on April 8, 2024 we’re about to experience an out-of-this-world solar eclipse! Join us to learn about solar eclipses through interactive augmented reality (AR). All Ages
You’ll also get a FREE pair of solar eclipse glasses when you attend (one pair per guest, while supplies last).
The eclipse glasses were sourced from the Monarch Butterfly Eclipse Project, an Oakville based organization.
CE AND ISO CERTIFIED FOR DIRECT SUN VIEWING - Our solar eclipse glasses are tested in independent CE and ISO licensed laboratories to meet and exceed USA and International Safety Standards. Tested for the most current requirements ISO 12312-2:2015(E) and are approved for direct observation of the sun. You can observe the total solar eclipse with absolute confidence for your eyes’ safety.*
About a solar eclipse: During a total solar eclipse, the moon completely blocks the sun while it passes between the sun and the Earth (creating “a path of totality”). The sky will darken as if it were dawn or dusk and those standing in the path of totality may see the sun’s outer atmosphere, if the weather permits.**
Program capacity varies by branch. Tickets may be used to manage capacity. Please review the guidelines and frequently asked questions on our Program FAQ.
