MosaicMic is an open mic event where voices from around the world meet through poetry and prose. 18+

What is MosaicMic?

More than a reading, it's a cultural gathering—an opportunity to share pieces of your heritage and amplify literary voices that are often underrepresented in English-dominated spaces. Whether it's the wisdom of Rumi, the rhythm of Tagore, or the passion of Neruda, every voice adds to the mosaic.

What to Bring:
Think of it like a cultural potluck. Bring a short poem or prose piece from your heritage that holds meaning for you. Please include both the original text and an English translation so everyone can engage with your selection.

Time Limit:
To ensure everyone has a chance to share, readings should be kept to 4 minutes or less.

Why Join?

  • Celebrate the richness of your language and culture
  • Discover global literary voices
  • Connect with others in a warm, welcoming space

How to Participate:

Register to participate and perform. No experience needed—just a love for words. Participants from all languages, cultures, and backgrounds are warmly welcomed!

Registration is required.
