Program RoomUnderstand what to do when the smoke alarm sounds, and learn the importance of having and practicing a home escape plan!
Children & families will also develop strategies for safely escaping a fire, and use knowledge to make safe choices in real-life scenarios. Stick around because we will then head outside for a demonstration of how the fire fighters put on their gear, see the fire truck up close and take a quick tour of the cab.
This program has a maximum capacity of 20 children. Tickets are required, and will be available at the service desk 15min prior to program start time.

Sixteen Mile Branch
Located inside the expanded Sixteen Mile Sports Complex, the new 18,000+ square foot branch features a Children's Area, Discovery Zone, Community Living Room, second‑floor Mezzanine, Digital Media Studio and Sound Studio, and multiple work and study spots including the Laptop Bar and dedicated Quiet Study Room.
