Do you or someone you know want to hear a friendly voice? More comfortable using the telephone than technology? Miss reading or listening to a story? Well, we want to connect with you! Oakville Public Library introduces three different pre-recorded story options in English for you to listen to, any time of the day. Dial our Stories by Phone service at 905-815-2041 and choose an option: poems and short stories for adults, stories for younger children (age 7 and under) or adult stories. Pick one or play them all, as many times as you like. New stories available every Tuesday. Long-distance charges may apply.
Located within southwest Oakville, the Woodside Branch is home to a large collection of materials and study spaces. The branch hosts a variety of programs for all ages. Parking is free.
