Join us for the Love of Nature in partnership with Oakvillegreen Conservation Association and presented by Wildlife Photographer John Silk

 John will take you on a journey through our local urban green spaces and wetlands.  He believes the best camera is the one you have with you, and what matters more to him is the connection to the environment, to all living things that surround us and that make our world and our town a beautiful and extraordinary place!

John Silk started taking photos in a dark room when he was 12 and received his first Polaroid instant camera and he never looked back.  He loves spending time in nature and this is where he gets his inspiration.  Professionally, John has been a wildlife photographer for the past 5 years, capturing the beauty of Oakville in all seasons.
