Come look at plants with fresh eyes. Let’s get inspired together and plan how we can invite a greater variety of life to thrive in our gardens and communities! Ages 19+.
Do you sometimes walk down your street or explore your neighbourhood, your city or town to look at the gardens? This is how we often get ideas for what we want to plant in our own gardens. But not all plants you see are wise choices. Some very attractive plants are invasive species that will gobble space in your yard and then move far beyond. Other exotic species may be less aggressive but do not support birds, bees or butterflies. Native, Nativar, Exotic, Invasive - What we choose can make a difference.
