Learn about the importance for yourself and your family of having a will and powers of attorney in this virtual session delivered by a local area lawyer, who practice Trusts and Estate Law.
This session will be facilitated by Sharon Davis from Sharon D. Davis & Associates as part of Make a Will Month.
Every November, the Ontario Bar Association (OBA) hosts events for Make a Will Month to educate the public about the importance of having a will and having it done by a lawyer. Sharon will speak about the elements of a will; what happens if you don’t have one; what are powers of attorney and why they are important; and special considerations to keep in mind when preparing your estate and care plans. If you can’t attend this session, head to the OBA website to find other virtual sessions.
This interactive online presentation will be delivered via Zoom. Registration is required and spaces are limited.
