In recognition of Black History Month, join us to hear spoken word poems from the Bird of Paradise, Dionne Samuels.
Dionne Samuels is a Canadian spoken word artist and poet who explores ancestry and heritage through spirituality-infused prose.
Come hear Dionne as she shares her poetry in this interactive and engaging program. The performance will be followed with a question and answer period.
Note: The performance element will be recorded, but not the question and answer session. The recording is for the purposes of providing a replay of the session. Participants will not be identifiable in an external or publicly provided recording.
This program is a part of OPL’s Community Conversations Series – OPL’s commitment to creating a community that celebrates diversity, belonging, addressing difficult conversations, and helping build connections.
