Chef Johl Whiteduck shares insights on Indigenous Agroecology and shares his perspective on reclaiming and relearning Indigenous knowledge about the foods, seeds, and plant medicines.

Through Miinikaan Innovation and Design Johl has co-designed and created Indigenous teaching gardens that invite curiosity and demonstrate Indigenous Agroecology practices, even in the smallest of urban spaces.  Chef Johl Whiteduck has been the Proprietor of NishDish Marketeria and Catering since 2005.

This program is a part of OPL’s Community Conversations Series – OPL’s commitment to creating a community that celebrates diversity, belonging, addressing difficult conversations, and helping build connections.
