The Art of Story Time in Gairloch Gardens

In Partnership with Oakville Galleries

Bring your little one to Oakville Galleries’ Gairloch Gardens to explore art and enjoy story time! Parents/guardians and children (0 to 5 years)

In partnership with the Oakville Galleries, join us as we stroll amongst the roses on the lakeside, using the surrounding sculptures within the garden as inspiration for an engaging and toddler friendly art activity. The session will end with an accompanying story as we wind down under the trees. 

This program is part of OPL’s 2022 Summer Reading Challenge program, running from July 1st to August 31st. Check out how to join the challenge, and find other Summer Reading Challenge programs. 

Registration is required and limited to ten (10) households with a maximum of four (4) people per household. A single (1) caregiver from the household will register. 

All sessions will be conducted in Gairloch Gardens. The meeting point will be outside of the Education Centre at Oakville Galleries in Gairloch Gardens, 1306 Lakeshore Road East, 2 km from downtown Oakville

In the event of inclement weather, this program will move into the Gallery space at Gairloch Gardens. 

Need to cancel? Please let us know.

If you have to cancel your spot for any reason, you can do so by:

1.     Logging into MyEvents using your library card.  If you did not register with your library card, you will need the reference number you received in your confirmation email.

2.     Phone your local branch, or email oplreference@oakville.ca. Please have ready the program title, program date, and names of registered individuals.

Access to facilities and programs may be impacted by evolving health and safety protocols related to COVID-19. The town will follow all requirements and recommendations issued by Halton Public Health and any applicable provincial regulations. The Town may use discretion to impose its own requirements. You will be notified if your registration is impacted by any changes.
