Join local visual artist Camille King in creating a mosaic about prominent Black Canadians and events in our history. All ages.

Join us for a family-friendly, mess-free, art workshop facilitated by visual artist Camille King, as she guides participants in creating a ‘mosaic’ about prominent Black Canadians and events in our history. In partnership with the Canadian Caribbean Association of Halton (CCAH) and the Oakville Public Library, this open studio-style workshop will showcase Afro-Canadian experiences combined with art panels, and then rounded up with a display of the work produced in the session!

The CCAH is dedicated to promoting diversity and inclusion, supporting cultural development, encouraging civic engagement through volunteering, and offering arts and educational programs. Explore the CCAH website here.

This program is a part of OPL’s Community Conversations Series – OPL’s commitment to creating a community that celebrates diversity, belonging, addressing difficult conversations, and helping build connections.
