The Searcher Group – Canada’s oldest, most reputable and accomplished paranormal research team – debuts at the Oakville Public Library!
Putting the ‘boo’ in ‘book’, Assistant Director and author Peter Roe (Haunted Town Halls) will share The Searcher Group’s true-life discoveries from the field of ghost investigation – just in time for Hallowe’en.
Mixing chills, a deep appreciation of Ontario’s vanishing heritage and thought-provoking discussion with a dash of humour, this popular presentation includes tools-of-the-trade, original theory on life-after-life phenomena, rarely seen exclusive field photos and clarifies popular misconceptions about ghosts (and how to properly investigate them). Bring your own inquiries and experiences to a Q&A following the hour-long talk!
An informative and entertaining Pre-Show will be presented 30 minutes before the presentation, for early attendees. Optional copies of Haunted Town Halls will be available for sale and signing following the event ($20 taxes incl., cash only please).
We respectfully ask that no video recordings be taken of this presentation, thank you.
Presenter Bio
As Assistant Director of The Searcher Group (TSG), Peter Roe also serves as Director of TSG subdivision, Mortal Coil Paranormal (MCP), serving the Greater Toronto Area and southwestern Ontario. When he is not spearheading investigations and conducting research, he is actively promoting TSG’s pro bono services, publicly presenting field discoveries and advocating for the province’s rapidly vanishing heritage sites. Peter has appeared in a testimonial capacity over two seasons of the Travel Channel’s Fear the Woods (aka Evil Encounters on T+E Channel) and earned worldwide notoriety with the release of his first nonfiction publication, Haunted Town Halls (Quagmire Press) in 2018. Peter is co-author of (tentatively titled) Ghost Investigation 2.0 with Searcher Group founder Richard Palmisano – an advanced manual due to be released in the fall of 2024 through Llewellyn Worldwide.
