Creation ZoneDrop-in to try out Virtual Reality and learn more about this ever evolving technology using the new Oculus Quest 2. Recommended for ages 13+.
Join us in person for a Virtual Reality social!
In this program you will learn the basics of navigating an all 3D environment with our Oculus Quest 2 headset. Using the wireless headset and touch controllers you will be able to load & play games as well as navigate through the metaverse.
As fun as Virtual Reality can be, there are some things to keep in mind. If you have any of the following symptoms please refrain from using this technology.
- Do not use the headset when you are: Tired; need sleep; under the influence of alcohol or drugs; hung-over; have digestive problems; under emotional stress or anxiety; or when suffering from cold, flu, headaches, migraines, or earaches, as this can increase your susceptibility to adverse symptoms.
Children under the age of 13 must be accompanied by an adult to participate in this program.

Located within the Iroquois Ridge Community Centre, Iroquois Ridge Branch is home to a large collection of materials, study spaces, and a Creation Zone. The branch hosts a variety of programs for all ages, with a particular focus on new and emerging technologies, such as virtual reality and Tinker Toys. Parking is free.
